I luv ramen noodles! Sometimes I leave out the flavoring and put butter, salt, and pepper on them. Cheese is always good, or some chicken pieces.

Oh, if you're a new lover of the Ramen noodle, try this Cabbage Ramen Noodle Salad.
2 green onions chopped, 2 Tbsp toasted slivered almonds, ½ head cabbage, thinly sliced; ½ pkg. Top Ramen noodles, uncooked, crunched up
Dressing: 2 Tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. salad oil, 3 Tbsp. vinegar, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. salt, seasoning pkg. from Top Ramen
Preparation:
1. Mix slivered almonds, cabbage and onions. Add dressing (refrigerate a few minutes before).
YUM-O
2. Add dry Top Ramen at last minute, just before serving. May add cooked, chopped chicken or shrimp for variety

Dice some onions into the water before putting it on to boil, so they are cooked by the time the noodles are done. Leave some of the water on the noodles and add some cheese and some ground cayenne pepper along with the seasoning packet.

This is so easy you've got to love it. In a pan, cook some diced chicken. I tend to season my chicken a little bit. After it's cooked, put it aside and put the half the required water with the seasoning packet in the pan to cook your noodles and add a bag of your favorite frozen mixed veggies. Once everything to cooked, throw your chicken back in. (I like the frozen vegs that have snap peas in them) This is so quick I cook it for lunch and my two year old loves it. My bachelor friends think it's incredible too. (I don't tell them it's this easy though)

I dump out the soup, too much salt. In the bottom of a bowl, put a pat of butter and a couple of dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Add it the hot noodles and stir until in all mixed up nice. Sprinkle on some sesame seeds if you have them. Stir again and eat.

You can add just about anything you like. Try diced cooked chicken, your favorite frozen veggies, even some left meats or veggies anything you like. You could also try them by cooking the noodles in water, drain the water off and add the seasoning packet, taste great like this too.

I put cut up left over meat in mine and some chopped celery(small). Beef for beef and chicken for chicken flavor, etc. I also like chow mein noodles in mine no matter what flavor. (Just toss a handful in after it's cooked)

Try using only half of those "flavor packs" They are very bad for you!
In addition to the standard recipe, you can add chopped meat or vegetables. Onions, garlic, chopped tomatoes, flaked cooked fish, chopped scrambled eggs, etc. Whatever savory item you like to eat can be served in, or beside, ramen noodles.

They are great. I drain the cooking water off mine, THEN stir in the seasoning packet. Then I sprinkle it with hot chili sesame oil. Incredibly unhealthy, but I don't care, it's great!
