Well, as I understand it from my Spirit Guides, when we pass over into spirit world, or Heaven, we have to face what we have done on the earth plane and we feel all the pain we have caused others. A lesson for us all I think not to hurt others, but help each other instead.

I'm afraid I'd be horrified to see my deeds. My fear, of course, is that the deeds that would show themselves would be the bad deeds. I tend to forget that my life has (at least) been equally balanced with good deeds. If I could see the deeds, good and bad in front of me, I suppose I'd see the profile of most men written in my own deeds.

Someone once told me (not something I really believe but it's a thought) That when we die, we spend eternity feeling the way we have made others feel. How we treat others in life will become our Heaven or Hell. Im not perfect, but I bend over backwards to not hurt people, I like people to feel happy and safe around me. My bad deeds, I face every day..what would be hard to face is realizing how bad I made someone else feel.

Guilt is only a useful emotion so much as it helps us to ask God to fogive us and we do better next time. Anything more extreme than that is of Satan's doing and can only harm us. As you begin in your walk with God, fill your mind with good, pure, helpful thoughts, reading and meditating daily on his word. Soon, these ugly memories will begin to fade and eventually will not even seem as if you were the one who did them. Keep holding fast to the hope of good things to come!!

If you have experienced some hardship in life you'll be quite safe because it will balance out your negative karma. I can face up to all my misdeeds with a clear conscience because I know I've tried my best to handle the hard times with dignity and self respect.

I'll face them through the filter of the blood of Jesus Christ. We *will* be held accountable, but if we have been forgiven, the past is under the Blood.

Ask God to forgive your failings, through Christ's name - but then turn from those things.

Meh, I get flashbacks all the time. It's not so scary once you get used to it.
