Sura 29:46 "And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one;
Sura 6:115 The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.
If 29:46 is true your God is my God.
If 6:115 is true his word can not be changed.

Berzirk...It says Your God is my God.....and the word of God can not be changed... If it said that only the Qu'ran was the word of God you might have an arguement. And if it siad that god's word could be changed before but it cant be changed now...Why is God now able to do what he couldn't or wouldn't do before did God somehow changeod did he change his mind? If so how is it the same God? and if it is not the same God why does the Qu'ran say it is? If there was ever an original word of God before the Qu'ran it could not be changed. and if there was never a word of God before the Qu'ran why does the Qu'ran insist there was? Why is the Qu'ran not in agreement wiht any previous word of God but says to someone called the people of the book that your God is my God? The Qu'ran you say was in agreemtn wiht this book and the Qu'ran says the word can not be changed so you are saying it wasnt changed but lost?

It makes no sense to me to say the word of God could be changed but not now god decided now to protect it but before he did not. But that is not in agreement with the Qu'ran it states his word can not be changed it did not say his Qu'ran can not be changed, well I guess you can say I will never know because I would have to learn Arabic to know God.

Sura 6:115 The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.
I have read all of chapter 6 can you show me where it says only the Qu'ran? It says the word of God and if you say the Qu'ran is the only word of God you disagree with the Qu'ran. If Your god was ever my God as the Qu'ran says then there would have to be previous scripture that can't be changed. Can someone tell me where I might find it if it is not the Torah and the Gospel then wheer is this book theQur'an says is guidance and light and can't be changed? and if God's word could be changed can someone show me in the Qu'ran that this is true? then explain why he said my word can not be changed. It says he hears and knows all then he knew it would be changed and still called it guidance and light. and said he gave it to us and we should follow it.

Miz: Your knowledge of the Bible is more than underwhelming as the first book in the Bible is Genesis which is from Moses and was 1500 years before the birth Of Christ. Your Qu'ran called him a prophet of God and prophets speak for God therfore making Moses scripture the word of God and he is recognized by your religion as such If most of the Bible was the Word of Christ you make a convinceing arguement for his deity. We Christians say he is the word as he himself said and apparently you agree this is good to know. Your Qur'an however felt that this was the word of God if it were not The Qu'ran would never have said "We gave the book to Moses" Now if this be the writing of Christ then Allah would clearly be saying he was Christ. And I'm not thinking your religion is in agreement with you on that one. The Qu'ran recognizes the book as coming from Allah to say different is to disagree with Allah and the Qu'ran. This is why Muslims now say the book is corrupt.

It's saying have respect for Jews and Christians (People of the Book) because God revealed true religion to them. Over the years though those revelations were mistranslated, corrupted, or abused for personal gain. When God made Muhammad the Seal of the Prophets and the last of the Messengers, He basically says, "OK, this is it. Last chance."
So therefore the early Jews and early Christians were practicing monotheism and so-called "Islamic doctrines." As they gravitated away from that, the last Prophet came.
The words of God in the Qur'an cannot be changed. It was revealed in arabic and has remained in arabic. There are translations, but they are called translations of the meaning. The "True Qur'an" will always be unchanged in its original state. Arabic.
While I'm sure you had no desire in the real answers and explanations, there they are. Racists, bigots, and trolls, flame away.
I don't want to make this post an eight page scroll-fest, but I saw you had a bunch more questions. If you want to email me and have an honest dialogue, that's fine, if you're just trying to throw misunderstandings out so that people think what you're stating is fact, then there's probably no sense in me wasting my time over it.
The generalized answer to "why would God allow it to change in the Bible and Torah" would be equal to "why did God flood the earth at the time of Noah." He chose to. He allowed that free will to ruin the planet, then hit the Ctrl-Alt-Dlt buttons. Religiously speaking, he did the same with the deliverance of the Prophet Muhammad. As a muslim, if it says in the qur'an that the qur'an will not be changed, I'm inclined to believe that over critics opinions and commentary.
Thanks.

the bible is not directly from god. it was written by ppl who came after jesus (pbuh). so they are mostly jesus's words. we beleive that no human man - (also claiming that he is only a man) is god. so the bible is not from god. the quraan has not been changed and cannot be - thus more true/beleivable. there are many versions of the bible - as there are continous changes. large parts of the bible have been changed by men. therefore how can u state that because in the bible it does not state that 'gods words cannot be changed' and that in the quraan it does state it, the two gods are not the same.
your confusion is coming from the fact that u think that jesus is god and so the bible was written by god. we beleive that ure revelation was the same as ours but was not written down - at the time

The Quran was not written by Muhammad because he can neither read nor write according to the Quran.
It was written by someone else 200 years after Muhammad. Considering there were no written records at the time, how would somebody know exactly what Muhammad said or did and what he actually meant when he said or did something.
These guys may cooked up some story to match their needs at that point of time. In fact, we only know Muhammad was in the cafe Hira from Muhammad without any witness.
A copy of what Moses did in Mount Sinai. During Moses time, God spoke to the prophets in dreams not through Angel Gabriel.
Muhammad must have heard this story from the Christian Monk Bahira who taught Muhammad about Judaism during his many business travels.
Muhammad only copied Moses -
1) God talking to Moses from a burning bush On Mount Sinai (God so spoke to Muhammad in a cave).
2) The Ten Commandments and the Laws - Book of Leviticus and Deutronomy of Moses (the Al-Quran, Hadith, and Hudud of Muhammad).
3) Moses crossing of the red sea and into Israel called the Passover, (Muhammad's move from Mecca to Medinah now called Hijra).
4) Moses had speech problems. Muhammad could neither read nor write.
Then he added and modified it in the traditions of the Quraish Tribe he was born into.
1) Worship the Star God Allah at the Kaabah in Taif.
2) Annual pilgrimage to the Kaabah at Taif
3) Circling the Kaabah
A clear indication of a extremenly GOOD FALSE PROPHET THAT WILL MISLEAD THE PEOPLE AS WARNED BY JESUS.

You just cannot translate something from Quran without going into the full context, Arabic is a language in which you can translate to many terms. You need to understand the Holy Quran by sitting with a scholar of Islam who can translate to you the actual meaning
