Why people beleive in God?

I guess they do because it gives hope, hope of a life after life.

Not because they really belive on him.

The people would never accept that the death is the end of everyting.

And they just hang on this position, the one that the holly books ofers, which say that if you are good on this life you will live forever on a bether place.

But we know thats not truth, we know that people dies out there every single day, and nobody has returned from the beyond to tell us abouth that place.

All of us know that when we die, thats the end of all.

So this is a cuestion of survival but fait.

For many people, simply looking at the world around us denotes that there is a God. At the very least, the Argument from Design does not explain to us the nature of the Creator or whether, indeed, he continues to have any influence in our world.

Have you realize how when a mother or a father leave the house without their small kids, they cry for mom and dad. In that very same way we need God, our soul cries to Him constantly, yearning for our Father's protection. He is our Father, the creator of heaven and earth.

Because people need an explanation as to why creation is here, and since they cannot explain it themselves, people seek to appease their curiosity and fear through a superior being. This has been the case since the creation of man.

I think it's for hope b/c it's comforting to know that they're is a parent who is around to help and guide us. Also, b/c people are scared when they die that it is the end. They want to believe that there is something more awaiting us, heaven.
