I Used to Prescibe, if I Remember Correctly, If a Person has No Stomach Problems, 500 mgs. Every 4-6 Hours as Needed, I Think the Half-Life is 12 Hrs., for OA. I am Not Saying you Should Do This.

The directions are to take 2 every 12 hours. So the safest amount that you should be taking is 4 in a 24-hour period and no more.

the bottle might mean no more than 3 DOSES which would be 2 pills every 4 to 6 hours as needed. which would make sense.

Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours. you can take two within the first hour however you should not take anymore than 2 in an 8-12 hour period. failure to comply with said directions may result in g.i. hemmorage (stomach bleeding)
