This girl at school passes me notes during class saying she loves my hair, or my shirt is hot but then the next second she is telling me i'm a jerk. One day she called me a huge nerd and the next day she wore a shirt that said I "heart" nerds! I'm so confused!!

she may not know how to express her feelings for you, so she is sweet one minute and then not the next. She doesn't want to let you on too much or she might feel rejected. She does want to tell you she likes you though. Ask her if you could study together for the class or go out to lunch together. I'm sure she'll be really excited, plus even if she is just playing games it could be a new friendship!
I think the shirt is a cute way for her to show she likes you.

There is nothing to be confused about, she is unbalanced.
You have to ask yourself this question, do you really want to get involved with a girl no matter how pretty she may be that is bi-polar or maybe even insane?
Think about it !
It sounds like a recipe for disaster already.
It's not like there is a shortage of beautiful women in the world looking for a nice intelligent guy.
Tell her to put a sock in it and quit bothering you.

Girls can be like that sometimes just to see how you'll respond - im 23 years old and i still act like that but don't take offense or be overly confused by it...she just wants ur attention

ignore her and treat her like she treats u. better yet next time she disses u call her out and clown her in front of everybody. she'll feel stupid and then she'll try to apoligize. then that means u have flipped the table and now u play hard to get and dont except her apology and then she'll be like she s really sorry and then u except her apology

Next time she "trashes you" surprise her with a compliment. Something like: "I'm sorry you feel that way, because I think you are great". That should lower her defenses or, at least, clear your doubts.

Sounds as if she is confused her self.I dont know but I sure would check her out first before dating her.She seems like she has problem.Then again some people have different ways of showing they care about you.But please be careful she sounds as if she can become a stalker.
