Help Problem With Windows Checking License?

Question

When I turn on my computer i get a message Saying : A Problem is preventing windows from accuratley checking the license for this computer Error Code 0x80004005

Ive not had this problem before what can i do?

Hey -- did you just do an upgrade? I found this for you. Just read this link, it's from Microsoft, it's kind of detailed, but it has two options.

hey if you have changed parts in your computer you have to re-register your computer. what you do you phone up some number (forgit what it was) and you press loads of number, until it asks you for the numbers you typed in when installing windows for the first time, those numbers should be on a sticker on the side of you tower (computer) you type in the code, once finished you'll be put trough and you talk to some asian, you tell him that whats wrong with your computer (i.e changed RAM) and he gives you a new code. your computer should be fine after that.

one time after i installed some updates ...i kept getting messages saying my windows was not valid or registered...i bought the pute used and im sure i probably have a unregistered version of windows on my pute - i think you may have the same problem...
