when there are many species in the animal kingdom which have constant homosexual sex. actually, there are many examples of homosexual relationships being favoured over hetrosexual ones within the animal kingdom. for example male swans are known to have fleeting sexual relations with female swans, in order to produce offspring, and then scare off the woman, and bring up the children with another male. if there are known actions like these taking place all the time, (everyone has seen 2 male dogs have sex!?), why is it that there are so many people who wallow in ignorance and turn to violence towards homosexuals as defending it as a sinful and immoral act against god and nature? why is there so much ignorance and hypocrisy ?

Because at the time the bible was written homosexuality was considered bad for business -- the "business" was organizing a group of people to become a political and military entity capable of seizing land and possessions from neighboring tribes. It was the way of the primitive world at that time. If you'll read the OT you'll see that all imperfections falling short of the ideal human were frowned upon, physical disabilities for example. People who were different were considered inferior, because God had supposedly "smote" them in some way. Israel was to be the superior chosen people, strictly indoctrinated into absolute obedience, told what to eat, wear, say, think and how to conduct their private lives through adherence to ritual. Homosexuality would have been a threat to Israel's new religion, had it been permitted.

Common sense as well as nature makes it obvious that homosexuality, like heterosexuality, is a natural part of life.

So, you are saying human beings are no different than dogs? (I suppose you also think it is natural or normal to eat your own feces or vomit).

The logic of your argument is flawed. Just because animals may engage in gay sex does not mean it is correct or natural. I don't have a problem with gay people, or gay sex for that matter, and I think it is fine for them to engage in whatever activity they choose, because we are all free to choose as we will. However, from a Christian standpoint, the primary purpose of sex is to procreate (also recognizing it is meant to be very pleasurable and a bonding experience), and there is no dispute gay people cannot procreate through sexual intercourse, and therefore it is not the natural way of things. It is not discriminatory, nor is it prejudice, to think that creating life is good and valuable, and that sexual intercourse is one of the most godlike activities one can enter into (as you are taking part in creation). We all should respect each other, despite our different views.

Something being done in the animal kingdom does not make it right for humans to do. In the animal kingdom, animals have sex with close family members regardless of age... they eat their young, abandon their weak, take over eachothers homes (dens) None of these things are acceptable to humans whether or not you believe in God. Using the animal kingdom to prove homosexuality is ok, is not a good way to go.

gay sexuality got a really bad rap in the 70s and 80s (read, and the band played on esp). esp in the US, the largest image of gay sex for me at least is the thought of men meeting other random male strangers in central park for outdoor quickies. or meeting in bathrooms and stuff. People are continuously trying to normalize homosexuality which is fine and well, but don't blame people who lived through that era for thinking of it as taboo.

NOTHING is unnatural. Everything springs from nature and so it's natural. A car is natural because people are natural and their nature caused them to construct it. Anything that is subject to the laws of physics is natural. It's a meaningless concept.

Normal is different. That's what most often happens.
