I've had a sinus cold for about a week and I can't find any over the counter meds that work. My symptoms are sinus pressure in my nose and sinus headaches. Can anyone tell me of an excellent over the counter sinus medicie?

I have terrible sinuses and when they start acting up I use rubbing alcohol (inhale)..... I just take a few good wiffs of it and it goes away ....

I had a sinus cold right before Christmas and the pharmacist said that Sudaphed was the best thing to take. I could tell that it helped, but it was no miricle.
By the way, you may have a sinus infection and not a sinus cold. Some sinus infections cannot be cleared up with over the counter medications. See your doctor if it doesn't start to feel better in the next three days.

I had recurring sinus infections, headaches etc. I had an allergy test run and found that a lot of my sinus and headaches were caused by allergies.

I have terrible sinuses, and I either use sudafed, and usually advil for the headache, or excedrin sinus headache. The excedrin works, but the sudafed and advil usually works better for me. Another good one is Tylenol severe sinus. That works really well, too.

Pour boiling water into a bowl and add a little Campho Phenic. Cover your head with a towel and breath DEEEEPP. Trust me on this.
