Peace, calm, nothingness, joy, a new life, a new planet, an infinite beingness, a corpse that cant walk around, a body without a spirit, a spirit without a body, freedom to go anywhere and do anything with just a thought. Reunited with loved ones and relatives, create your new reality. The skys the limit or the universe is limitless.

Take your pick really, believe what you want, contemplate the possibilities, the probabilities.

Medical science can keep a body alive but it can't make it animate if there is no spirit that wants to stay with the body, short of continuing to give the body electric shocks that is.

What comes after life I wonder?

Planet Earth is a wonderful place if you disregard the problems and what man is doing to hurry along global warming etc. I honestly can't prove what comes after death but neither can a scientist prove life after death doesn't exist.

Happy New Year - we could make a difference in helping the planet if we want.

The Reaper

I don’t suppose you see it
When the finger points your way
Then crooks - pulls in - beckoning
In the foreboding way

Along its arm is darkness
Stretched tight to hollow eyes
The skinless skull is searching
This Shepard culls his flock

Swift the ticket for the journey
Is passed from hand to hand
And the voyage past understanding
Has begun to never end

Most would turn around with warnings
But the hard cold engineers
Have their hands down fast full throttle:
Time’s no longer dressed in years

The unknown curtain’s opened
In display - the vast beyond
Eyes no longer need to see
No light, no warmth, no sun

All things before that mattered don’t
No measurements persist
No time, no length, no weight, no temp
No comparisons exist

There’s nothing beautiful
Nor nothing dreaded here
This status is unfathomable - for brain
In this, the soul’s frontier

Hi Molly Moo, I agree with Crystal. There is no such thing as death - earthly death yes - but our soul lives on and enters Heaven, or Spirit World whether we have sinned or not. Those who have done terrible things in their earthly life go to a separate place within Heaven until they are sorry for what they have done. As I understand it from my Spirit Guides, Heaven is a wonderful place full of love and the colours are a much more brilliant colour than here on Earth. And, yes, as Crystal says, you reincarnate into several earthly lifetimes to learn lessons to progress your soul. So, don't ever be afraid of earthly death as you are going to a much better place!

If you believe in reincarnation: you will look back at your life, see which good and bad things you have done, see what could have been done better, and then after a while (can be a long time) you will come back to earth to experience new things.
This will go on until you have become kind of perfect and then you can stay in the heaven and don't have to come back.

but that's just a very short explanation there are a lot books about it...

Well I will get the thumbs down for this, but I have seen to much and know to much to lie to you, there is life after death, far better than this life, we judge ourselves though each life we come to, but if only you could see through my eyes you would see such wonderful things, sometimes i think this is death that we have now, and when we pass on we come alive, but make up your own mind, check things out and listen only to yourself, and you will find the answer.

Love & Peace

if Christian you have wonderfull things to look forward to

1Corinthians 2;9. However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" --

Rev 21:
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." )

The Right to Enter Paradise

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

There is no consciousness after death but we can look forward to life after the resurrection if we remain alive in God's memory.
