I really like this guy, hes 18 and I'm 20. Everytime I see him, he smiles, and is happy to see me. I'm the first one he ims when he signs on and I know this sound childish, but he hasnt asked me out yet and I think its because hes shy. Should I ask him out because he is all I think about lately and me having feelings this strong hardly ever happens.

If I were you, the boy would have been dating me already. Maybe not as a boyfriend, but as a friend, at least. I really think you should ask him out. Considering the fact that you are a bit older than him, you should take advantage from this thing and go ahead, with courage. Really, I am telling you from my own personal experience, it is painful not to express your feelings. Just for a moment, forget the environment and the circumstances, and listen to your heart. I bet that your heart screams : "Ask him out, coward!!" :)

Yes definitely. Give it a go. He could be your perfect match. Think to the future. If you don't take the opportunity you may feel sorry about it. You may even marry one day and have kids (IIf you like each other that much). Definitely you should. Go girl.

Well, it seems that you are shy too.
it is good to ask him out but if you find it difficult, try to ask him to join you and one of your close friends who can bring her boy friend. In this way 4 of you can go out and there you can know him and his feelings more.
