I read about the guy in the subway...and it was wonderful to read some news that didn't depress me..Hooray for that man...There are great people in this country and there is to much focus on bad events....really there are great people out there. I didn't read anything Bush said....as I don't believe a word he says.

I read Bush op-ed letter. It looked allot like Karen Hughes work. We have 3000 hero's dead in Iraq. Donald Trump should give the families of these brave service members $10,000 each. So should Rossie and Oprah. The life Insurance was a joke of a payment. I also read that many life insurance policy's will not pay if killed in a war zone. Disclaimer.
When will there be a National day of mourning for the over 3000 that have fallen, these brave Americans? Those that have gave all for our country? When will the flag hang at half mast for them? I agree the Black man is a Hero, he should be honored, he was by the NY mayor. I just wonder why Trump had to drop $10,000 cash on him.. I am sure this guy did not leave his two kids to the care of a stranger to rescue a white guy for money or press.

I agree with jl_jack09. Our military men and women are heroes too. Why aren't the flags at half mast remembering them. I think it is great that people are helping each other again, but when one of our military people die, there isn't hardly anything mentioned about it. Except how high the death toll is.

WE WERE SAYING THAT IN MY JOB THIS MORNING. WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE REST OF THE COUNTRY BUT WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN NYC. THE HERO'S ARE COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK
