So, as most of you predicted, that boy DID like me back! (Yay!) He asked if I liked him then I said yes and he told me he thinks he feels the same way. We then agreed to talk properly when we next saw each other.

I saw him a few times in the last few days, and I didn't bring up what had been said, and neither did he, so we never had 'the talk' and carried on as normal. However, I would really like to go out with him, but he mentioned that he also liked me a while before and didn't say anything, despite his confidence, when it comes to things like this, I wonder if he gets shy.

But what should I do next? Should I just leave things unsaid and flirt, or should I have a proper conversation about our feelings?

Ask him out! Maybe he's too scared or maybe he thought "the ball's in her court". See if he fancies a coffee or lunch or something - what have you got to lose? Go on....

I wouldn't initiate a conversation about your "feelings" because it might be awkward; it's already established that you like each other, and you don't want to freak him out by elaborating too much. Instead, just make some plans with him. Next time you two talk, just ask if he wants to go do something.

well thats awesome! congrats! if i were you i would suggest that you ask him if he would like to go and do someting just the two of you. since hes shy and all youd help him out and continue to show him youre confident. i wouldnt do a talk just yet because the relationship is too new...just wait a bit and maybe hell get enough confidence to bring it up himself

stay cool...go slow...keep hanging out...touch him lightly...flirt a little harder..be playful..be yourself...that is what he digs...so keep it up...if he is still being real shy..after a few more times...then make a little move to kiss him and see what happens..but don't talk about "feelings" just yet...let things continue to grow and develop...we guys are sometimes reluctant to talk about "feelings" he may be more of a "doer" than a talker.....good luck...pursue this strong!

Just take it easy and let things take their natuarl course. You might ask him if he would like to come over and have a soda, or maybe catch a movie sometime.

Try talking with him. If he doesn't open up then leave it unsaid
until he is ready. Don't be pushy . Be understanding. There is a reason he doesn't want to discuss it...

If you want to go out with this cat, you should just ask him. You already know that he likes you, so what is there to lose.
