Why do some people get head colds almost all the time and others only once in a blue moon?

I think the exposure are 95% people exposed to a common cold virus pathogen catch it and 75% show symptoms.

Not only is it the immune system, but it depends on other factors. Some people have allergies which makes things flair up and others have small sinus cavities which makes it easier to get and harvest the germs.

I think it's like everyone else said... immune system, diet, exercise, lifestyle. I tend to get at least 3 or 4 colds each winter, while my boyfriend only gets 1 or none at all. I do exercise and eat well, take vitamins, etc..however, when I didn't do that stuff, the symptoms were much worse, and the colds lasted much longer.
I think it's mainly the immune system.

My dad used to get colds about once a month until he quit drinking, started eating a better diet, started exercising, and taking multivitamins. After that he hardly ever had a cold.

i think its to do with people's immune system. If ones immune system is low then they are more likely to get a cold than someone with a high immune system

it is all down to the type of foods we eat on a regular basis ,if you treat your body as an engine,the better the fuel you put in the better it runs.

immune system has everything to do with this. there are ways to strengthen your immune system.Diet is the biggest part of this formula, exercise,and lower stress
