That depends on age. When I was in my teens and early 20's I could go a long while (though I never did) without sex and not miss it. As I entered my late 20's and now early 30's I find that my desire has greatly increased and I would like it almost every day.

The longest I went in between was 3 years (actual time from deed to deed), but most recently was about 4 months. As far as feeling the "need" a coupla weeks.

A long time. I was married and HAD to have it ALL of the time. But since my divorce, I haven't really craved it, and I wouldn't want to just sleep with anyone for the hell of it. Women are more of emotional lovers, well at least I am, and if I don't have someone that I care for, then sex just isn't something that interests me or I feel that I "need".

My b/f gets deployed to Iraq all the time he is leaving again next month and he will be gone for 6 months so I can go without it for 6 months.

2 days then i start really feeling the need and on the verge of going crazy if i don't get it. i am such a huge walking hormone!!!
it is more like me chasing him around the house to get some. usually it is the other way around!!!
