It's possible to treat snoring through lifestyle modifications such as losing weight, quitting smoking, changing sleep habits, and avoiding alcohol and sedatives before you go to bed. If snoring is due to nasal congestion, nasal strips, decongestants, or nasal corticosteroid sprays may be used. If these modifications do not improve the snoring, then it is time to see a doctor.

Do you have your tonsils? If so that could be one thing for starters to get removed. Maybe try getting an appointment with a ENT(ears, nose, throat) doctor and he/she can discuss recommendations. The also sell throat liquids which you gargle before going to bed which are supposed to reduce or stop you from snoring.

Snoring can be genetic. My ex-wife, her two brothers and her father are all chronic snorers. The ex and one of her brothers sleep using a CPAP machine which helps night breathing no end. These are available on the NHS for chronic cases.

You need to know what's causing your snoring first. You could have sleep apnea, sinus issues, etc. You may want to visit a sleep clinic to pinpoint the problem in order to find the solution.

use those stripes for breathing better, but anyway don't ignore it and go to the doctor since snoring can be a signal of a heart condition.

One simple method is to sleep on your side rather than your back. However, if you are also prone to moving about alot in your sleep thenthis will do little to help the situation.
