Al Jazeera is probably the most respected news agency of the middle east. That's the reason why Al Qaeda chooses them to release its videos is that if they released them to someone else, it would look like propaganda.

As for their torturing or bombing, you are being a hypocrite. The reason you consider them bad guys in the first place is because they torture and bomb people.

So you have become the terrorist have you blowing up and torturing those that you don't like. What makes you the good guy if this is the policy you want to enforce? This is the kind of logic the terrorist use to hit western news people and intellectuals. I think you need to really rethink your position because you have gone over to the dark side if the force young angry jedi.

Have you forgotten about our Constitution?
Freedom of the press ring a bell...?
As bad as the news is that they bring to the world, they still have a right to do so.
Al Jazzera, America isn't broadcasting here in the USA because no cable service will carry them. That should tell you something.

Ever consider that they probably say the same thing about CNN? What about the idea that we are using propoganda to sway American opinion of the network? How can you preach about spreading democracy and then take out a news outlet? Infringes on freedom of speech...

How do they 'Obviously' have ties to the 'bad guys'? Remember in the middle east many consider us to be the bad guys, would you support their right to bomb our media stations?

As for 'propoganda' have you tried watching Fox lately or listening to Ann Coulter?

You (like many others in this word) are going to need to get over the desire to kill people that don't think the way they want you want them to.

Actually, have you looked at the Aljezera[sic] english language website... I have and was astonished to find that they print more favorable stories towards America than CNN or other News Agencies do. Trust me, I was shocked.

Why did our governement fire general Shenseki when he said at least 300,000 troops would be needed to secure Iraq? Why did we attack Iraq when we knew they didn't have WMD? Why was Saddam hung before his genocide trail was finished? Becuase these things would make sense! trust me, i was in the Army, and we had to walk around, be nice to the Mahdi Militia, and not shoot them while we watched them bury bombs to kill us with. It is a horrible war plan, that can only get worse!

If we take them out, we won't know what they are up to. That would be like the terrorists taking out the New York Times. How are they gonna know troop strengths and troop movements of American soldiers if they do that? They get their best info on the US from The New York Times and CNN just like we get ours from Al Jeezera.

Not all of Al-Jazeera's programming is related to terrorists, Al Qaeda or the like. I do wonder why they don't try and get the informants that bring information to them from said sources though...
