Artifical intelligence. Already unmanned vehicals can find their way on ground from point A to point B on their own even when it's nowhere near a straight line.

Eventually zero light nightvision goggles will become available to civilians.

Civilian tires may no longer need air in them. I think foam tires are already available. Imagine no more flats.

I think you're about to see more advances in GPS technology. We use a thing called Blue Force Tracker that allows us to track all of our vehicles from our Tactical Operations Center. I see that same kind of technology coming to vehicles and even cell phones, some day soon.

Those are some good suggestions. 30 years ago, I bet no one predicted the military would bring us the internet, so who knows what they're up to. There are some non-lethal weapons that are coming out in the military, those might help with law enforcement.

The military leads the way in trauma care, some of the new stuff is already hitting the civilian hospitals and saving lives.
