You can freeze smaller cuts of meats (beef, pork or chicken) for approximately 6 months, but you can freeze ( whole turkeys + hams ) for as long as 1 year. Most fish is only good for a couple months. Make sure that all meats are wrapped properly to prevent freezer burn.

The general rule is 3 mos. in freezer and 6 mos. in a deep freezer. Also depends on the type of meat and how well it's packaged. I had a roast in the deep freezer for a year. After cooking, it was good but not as good as fresh. I can taste the difference.

•*Freeze meat in the store packaging if you plan to eat it
within a week.
•*Rewrap meat if freezing it for longer than a week.
•*Wrap well with heavy plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Wrap
tightly to remove air.
• *Date all packages.
• * Freeze lamb and beef steaks and roasts for up to one
year. Ground beef up to 4 months. Pork up to 8 mos.
Whole poultry up to 1 yr. poultry parts 6 months.
And leftover meat 2-3 mos.

Well I buy alot of hamburger meat at once, make hamburger patties, put them in a zip lock baggie, and store them in the freezer. It last for like a week and a half maybe two weeks. It depends on how strong you freezer is as far as temperature.....if its to cold it could get freezer burnt. That has never happen to me. So I would suggest that the temperature would be put on medium cold....
Hope I Helped!

rewrap in freezer paper and a freezer bag it will keep for about 6 months. Pork doesn't taste good kept as long as beef though.. You can buy them machines to shrink wrap stuff too and this works well to store it longer. the more airtight the better quality and less chance of freezer burn.

You can freeze it for as long as you would like.
Just don't eat it if it is beyond help. When you defrost the meat you can generally tell if it is bad.
