The term Peopleware was coined by Tom DeMarco and Timothy R. Listed in their 1987 book of the same name published (title: Vienna waits for you!). In the meantime the term is also generally used, in order to describe that there are humans besides the hardware and the software, still as important component during the process of the software development.
