How easy its it for a plane to disappear like the missing plane in Indonesia. What kind factors contribute to this sort of thing. Its missing and they don't know where. What makes them so certain it crashed. I'm not saying this is terrorism but the plane is missing and and there seems to be no confirmation of what might have happened other than distress signals. It just seems they are working completely in the dark and I'm just wonderign is it easy for this thing ot happen.

Depending upon the area that aircraftt crashed, it is capable of just going missing. If the aircraf were to have crashed in the deep water it can go down and if the first responders, due to weather can't get there quickly the plane can sink and be extremely hard to find. Also if it is over jungles etc... that they can not get to on the ground, again it can be very difficult to locate the aircraft.
So in fact a plane can just go missing.

i don't believe its terrorism. there have been various accidents in the country due to bad weather lately, the search team is experiencing that too. OT, i wonder how they found out that 90 are dead, and 12 survived... they haven't found the plane yet.
