God is holy, and requires holiness. Holiness is purity. Even though you may think you are good enough, even one sin disqualifies you from being in the presence of God. You could never be good enough. That is why you need Jesus.
The Bible says that there is none good enough. "There is none who does good, there is not even one," (Rom. 3:12). Goodness is measured by God's standard - not yours.
To say that you are good enough means that Christ did not have to die. But He did die to save sinners. The Bible says if righteousness can come by good deeds, then Christ didn't need to die (Gal. 2:21), but He did, so being good isn't enough.

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

Your right, no man is good enough, but a born-again believer in Jesus is good enough.

Jesus said believe unto me and you shall be saved. He also said All come to the father through me. Jesus' standards may not be as high as Gods, Jesus was very compassionate and believed that all people can be saved. So Jesus will determine who is good enough by fellowship with Him.

You are absolutely correct. But be careful not to fall in the trap of "cheap grace". Which amounts to nothing more than to accept Christ as your savior without becoming a follower of him. Because Jesus Christ has said that on the last day he will tell many; "I never knew you"!

Just live your life to the best of your ability. Live in according to God's Law. Don't worry about who's not liking it. Don't worry about being put down because of it. It's your life and if you feel that you want to be the best person that you can be by having a good heart, caring, places ordeals into prayer and any other way in accordance to God's word that would fulfill your life, then you do it! I was raised that there will be 144,000 that will Raine in His Kingdom. I know I'm definitely not going to be one of them. But if you're living your life in accordance to God and His Son Jesus Christ, I think you've got a good chance of being one of His Angels.

We can never be good enough to earn our way to heaven. Its a free gift. We are to live a holy life, but when we fail and sin , we can be truly sorry and ask God for forgiveness and He will forgive us.

Right on.

You NEED Christ in your heart---which comes from simply ASKING Him to come in and change you, BELIEVING that He died for you and that He will take away every sin you have EVER HAVE committed, ARE committing now, or EVER WILL commit.

We become righteous by the blood of Jesus. We receive the power of prayer in our lives. It is His wish for us to pray for and help others, so He can help and bless US in return!

IT IS SO EASY!!

"Good and bad" is not the criteria for entrance into heaven.

Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
