My sister wanted to do the same thing and this worked. Everyday in the evening she would go pace her self by not running but to power walk a mile to 5 miles. She even went on a diet. She tries to drink nothing but water. And dont forget to do leg exercise at ur home.So at home dance a little cuz she did that too. But a smart thing to do is not just loose the weight but tone your legs with some muscle because if your also an athlete it is good to be strong.

Yesterday, I saw Martina Navratilova on Ellen. She has a new exercise book out. It is very sensible, and you are encouraged to go at your own speed. It's for everybody, not just the super athlete.

Explain to friends, family and work friends that you’re dieting. Support from your people around you keeps anyone motivated, stops you from cheating along with makes it less likely that you're going to fall off the wagon.

You can't target specific areas to lose fat. Your body naturally stores more fat in some locations more than others. If your try to target your thighs you'll build your thigh muscles and burn fat, but the fat burn will be throughout your entire body.
