I have had my nose pierced for about 3 weeks now. A few days ago it started to bleed. I blew my nose and i think the tissue pulled it a little. But after the blood dries up, i move the nose ring then it breaks the scab and bleeds a little more. I have a tiny bump filled with blood right on the side of the hole. But its not sore. Is this infected? If so, how can i cure it without letting it close up?

the problem with putting peroxide or any form of alcohol on a piercing is that it dries out the surrounding area to such a degree that it can lead to permanent scarring. It's better to use Tea Tree Oil (which can be found in any pharmacy). Tea Tree Oil is a natural topical anti-infective. When my tragus piercing formed a bump I used a q-tip to dab the piercing with the tea tree oil and then rotated the bar. The bump went away after three days, I kid you not.
Oh and things like neosporin, while keeping foreign material out, have been known to trap bacteria and what not in the wound prolonging the healing period.
So in short: clean the piercing 2-3 times a day with Dial followed by a drop or two of Tea Tree Oil, and do warm sea-salt soaks before bed to drain any fluid caught in the piercing/bump.

Clean the wound with hydrogen peroxide. Put some neosporin or bacitracin ointment on the site. If it does not heal in a couple of days, see a doctor. If you start to see swelling or red lines streaking away from the site, get thee to the emergency room.

Well, first of all, you aren't supposed to remove your nose ring for at least 6 months. You are also supposed to use a q-tip dipped in soap (preferably Dial) and run it along the area where your nose is pierced at least once a day. The bump is still normal...cleaning it will take care of it.

Sounds like it may be trying to become infected. Mine still does that occasionally and I've had mine pierced since October. I recommend buying liquid Bactine (Wal-Mart, etc.) and applying that to your piercing a couple times a day. It should clear up any infection if it's there and stop any other from occuring.

Take and clean the outside of the ring with peroxide and then dab a little neosporin on it and work the ring back and forth which will help get the medicine in the hole itself. Also you can clean the inside of your nose with alittle bit of water on a qtip.

It's just your body letting you know you did something unnatural to it. Watch it for soreness or inflammation or if it doesn't clear up in a few days. Also, use it as a lesson the next time you want to pierce a body part.

three weeks is way enough time for a good healing.
You may have the body trying to reject that thing.
Y ou will face less grief, if you remove that thing, get rid of it, ald let the hole close and totaly heal.
