My fiance and I are thinking about including a piece of Turkish Delight in our wedding favors. I've found only one candy maker who sells it individually wrapped...and it's MUCH too expensive. All others sell it in boxes, the same way you'd buy chocolates. Any ideas of how we could indiviudally wrap pieces of candy?

Waxed paper is the best way to individually wrap candy.

I've never heard of the type of candy you are talking about, but if it's sticky the waxed paper will be the easiest thing for guests to remove from the candy.
After you wrap each in waxed paper you could put them in a nice decorated box, or wrap some colored netting around them.
You will have to make them fancier than just candy wrapped in waxed paper.

You could use plastic wrap like saran wrap to individually wrap them, some brands even come in different colors. If this doesn't sound good you could use aluminum foil shiny side out, it looks nicer that way. Either way it's not very expensive for a box of wrap no matter which one you choose.

Decorative foil would prob. be the best. You can prob. find it at a craft store or go to your local candy store and purchase a "piece" from them. maybe about a 2 ft. section.(depend how many you're doing.) You won't need much for a piece of candy. cut it into little squares. wrap candy and twist ends.

Most paper / party supply places sell cake wrappers for wrapping pieces of wedding cake -- they also sell little boxes and a few other options.
