We live in Montreal.I want someplace quiet, somewhere scenic, and definetely somewhere with a spectacular beach! It would be cool if I could send them to a romantic getaway with not very many kids, since they have enough when they are at home!!! I also have a budget, and would like to stay around the 3,100$ mark(in canadian dollars). Everyone says cuba,but then someoene told me there might be a talk of war down there, i can't afford to take a chance and send them there if anything happens. Also with the amount I would like to spend is it possible to find something for alittle longer then a week.Any suggestions? Thank you!

Crystal Sands on Cresent Beach in florida is a bit pricey but rents flats (very nice!!! every flat has beachview) or little homes right on the beach (usually 2 weeks at a time)
it is one of the best beaches I've ever seen. Then they can rent a car and drive to Tampa (? 1.5 hour away) for busch gardens etc, or visit the ringling museum just north of that beach. Disney and many attractions are available. Also many nature preserves for beack wetlands and swamp areas.
Gulf shores beackes are usually a bit less occupied (dauphine island, paridise etc.) if that is preferable
Jamacia is good too. There is rose plantation, waterfalls at ocho rios and a great (soemwhat manmade) beach at negril. If you don't think they would utilize all inclusive - I loved the little cabanas at the treehouse in negril. you can also rent villias by the week or month in montego bay.
Hawaii? It is great volcano's too. But pricey and very crowded in honolulu

Definitely send them to the Paradisus Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic. Not too many kids, and everthing was amazing. Food, drinks, beaches, people, etc. I think it cost my boyfriend and I about $3,000 (from chicago), but we didn't shop around for deals, so I bet you could find it cheaper. Good luck!
