In Greece goats will climb low trees to get at new shoots. In some parts of Morocco, Argan (or goat tree) takes the place of the Olive as a source of forage, oil, timber and fuel in Berber society. Especially near Essaouira, the argan tree is frequently climbed by goats. Not that hard to believe when you consider where mountain goats go.

I don't know that they're 'tree goats' but I have seen goats in trees when I was in Morocco, apparently thet were all 'facing Mecca'! For what reason a goat would think about climbing atree to face Mecca I know not but there you go!

I saw tree goats in Morocco. They climb a certain type of tree and graze away. Looked very odd!
