Following Wicca is not at all stressful for me. It's the way some people react to hearing I'm Wiccan that causes me stress.

All religions are stressful no matter what rules and regulations u have to follow. The intensity of just keeping in mind to follow something is already stressful enough not to mention the work and problems we are already facing each day. If you consider Christianity a religion than yes, it will be one of the most stressing religions to follow. The ten commandments that christians follow are directly against our sinful nature. However, if you consider Christianity as a relationship with a living God, then there is COMPLETELY no stress involved. :D

Religion is stressful, and that's what Satan intended. Religious fanatics make up all kind of rules to follow trying to add to God's Word. If people would just relax and understand that we all have an old sin nature since birth and learn that all you have to do in the privacy of your own priesthood is to rebound (confess your sins to God) and keep moving, things would be alot better for everyone.

It depends. For example, if one is willing to adhere to every dot of the rules and rites of the religion he believes in, he does not think it is stressful to keep them. Only the false believers will feel stress to follow the religion he pretends to profess. Christians have this advantage for their faith and that is the truth as promised by Jesus will set them free. Once this is secured, he no longer feels stressful to keep all the rules prescribes. So it depends the faith is embraced truthfully or falsely or as a hypocrite.

But think about the unimportance of this life. After a religious person dies they get all sorts of rewards that are even better than Frequent Flyer Miles. You get to pound an assload of virgins, or hang out with the little baby Jesus forever, depending on which religion of course.
I get the virgin part but what would you and Jesus talk about forever, I get tired of talking to people after only 30 years?

That is why Islam, Buddhism, and may other religions say - do the best you can. God is forgiving and merciful.
As long as we try our best and try to improve - the times we miss the mark or fail to meet the ideal will be forgiven.
Stress means you are trying to hard and not being compassionate enough with yourself.

It extremely relies upon, preserving with the tenants of your non secular ideals isn't any distinctive than attempting to maintain in the guidelines of the civil regulation, or interior of your very own ethical code. in my view many human beings are interested in the extra conservative non secular communities because of the fact there are no longer any gray areas; it extremely is a sin, era; no talk allowed. It gets rid of the paradox. i think of there is extra rigidity while there is conflict between someone's ethical code and the their non secular ideals. A married Catholic couple that chooses to apply beginning administration, as an occasion (least debatable one i'd desire to arise with). Their faith calls beginning administration a sin; yet they do no longer choose extra little ones

Religion is stressful because of all of the rules and regulations, living a certain way of life is not because you are not looking to man for approval you are looking to a higher power.

That's the reason i don't follow any religion. I'm more spiritual and I believe we have the duty to find our own truth. The problem i find with religion is that is very superficial in explaining about God and why we are here.

It is stressful. The rules contradict each other, so how can you follow them perfectly? Take Utah for example. The majority are mormons and the anti-depressant drug use is one of the highest in the nation.
