Nope, won't show up. It's not among the compounds that the tests check for (THC, opiates, and amphetamines primarily). You're safer with absinthe than you are with poppyseed muffins/bagels (which frequently show positive for opiates).

I honestly don't know the answer to the question. I just wanted to comment that the guy on top is a complete prude. You can actually get absinthe here in certain liquor stores, mainly specialty stores, so I don't think it's going to hurt you any. Good luck, though.

Remember, absinthe is not a drug, it is not hallucinogenic, it is not related to THC and it is not tested for in drug tests. It wont show up on a test anymore than "grapes" will show up after a night of wine drinking.

why risk it... its not worth it.

I hope your all court marshaled, you and the *** below me who does it with all his friends. Maybe thats why the Nazy sucks the way it does, I am assuming you yourself are in the Army, another spot of brightness. seriously your in our military and ... dammit theres just some things you shouldn't do. I bet when either of you are in charge you have no issues with writing up a subordinate for something while not illegal... but wrong. as you drink your illegal liquor and do your drugs on liberty. your are some of the first holes I would have thrown a hand grenade into

sigh... I am not a "prude" but the fact is these two people are in the armed services. and as such should follow some form of accepted standard. If not we would have some sort of chaotic hooligans running around in uniform. where is the pride of being a soldier, airman, squid, or marine anymore ? by wearing that uniform you are accepting the fact that you have to live by certain moral grounds.

Considering the fact that it is still illegal in America with the exception of isolated locations of availability Absinthe is illegal to you as long as you are in that uniform, or carry that ID card.

It does not show up. Several of my friends in the Navy have tried it, and they've never gotten caught. I've also tried it (and not gotten caught) - it's an experience you'll never forget. Just be sure to have some hot girls around at the time.
