If the muslim population of the world consider Islam to be a peaceful religion where does the war of hate begin. If that is contradictory to their beliefs why is it that they do not collectively voice their opinion and denounce the wrong propaganda

The same reason some sport fans become violent at sporting events.

The same reason some Animal Rights Group members become radical.

The same reason some people smack their kids.

Some people resort to violence to get their way, its not necessarily a reflection of a group they happen to belong to.

Just ask yourself what would you do if people invade your nation; your homeland; the place where you grow up and learn about life and all. Would you fight to protect your family, your land, your freedom, and your rights or would you just watch the invaders kill your beloved ones and your people and destroy everything you have much loved and cherished.

Thus, it must be understood that desperate circumstances may call for desperate measures. For this reason, perhaps, His Holiness the Vicar of Christ Pope Urban himself commissioned the Crusades.

Radical Islamists are those who believe that the ends justify the means, hence the 9/11 and al-Qaeda. Their goals are supposedly to make the world hear what the Muslim world has to say by any means possible, hence quoting and understanding Quranic verses literally without proper exegesis have become a habit for them.

I as a Muslim can totally understand their sentiments. Nevertheless, like majority of Muslims worldwide, we believe that extremism is not taught by Islam and thus, forbidden. The Prophet (peace be upon him) himself called for Muslims not to choose the excessive or the little, but to choose the middle - Moderation.

I pray that God would show them the best path which His prophet has already declared solemnly 1400 years ago - Moderation.

God knows best.

The fact is only a Muslim Pope Equivalent (Caliph) can issue a Jihad, there is not Caliph, so there can be no Jihad. The people who are fighting to defend they are doing what is right, but the terrorists who are killing innocents are criminals.

You understand now?

I personally don't think standing outside with a sign is going to do anything. I pray to God to forgive me of my bad deeds and protect me from the fire.

All of us will be judged, and not one deed will go unexamined.

Do you think it would be fair to take the KKK (the craziest Christians) and then say Christianity is not peaceful and encourages murder?

If almost 1 million illegal aliens have the common sense and aptitude to unite and demand the media's attention you are going to try to convince me that Muslims are so helpless or so incapable as to do the same or better? Who do you think you are fooling?

I do not believe in religion but I know that the one religion who has is having their "crusade" here and NOW in these days and time is Islam.

That is what I have been trying to understand.

With so called "moderate" Muslims saying that the radical islamist are very very few yet a very vocal group... I wonder if the other "moderates" are just cowards or don't have enough faith in their book to fight what they would have us believe is one of the worst enemies of Islam.

A group of people either pretending to be Muslims and committing sins against Islam or a group of people who think they are Muslims who are committing sins in Islams name.

Either way, the "Moderate or non-terrorist supporting" Muslims would have us believe that the Radical Islamist are their enemies... doesn't their book require them to fight when they are attacked?

hmm something doesn't seem right to me.

for the KKK(crazy christian) comment: I bet more Christian would be willing to publicly denounce the KKK as evil and sinners.

The KKK doesn't have an intricate network of political/religious/terror fronts called Mosques through out the world where money is funnel to support activities such as acquiring weapons of mass destruction.

I don't believe all Mosques are used for terror activities but it is very difficult to know which are and which aren't and it is easy to see where the KKK crazy christian pervert the words in the bible it is not easy to see who is using perverted logic in the other Group.

many people try to voice against it. its just not something we see a lot on the news.. but whos to blame for that.. the news or the people. and how can you judge a religion by how the minority of followers of that religion behave. if you were an intelligent human being than you would make the effort to study it before assuming and attempt to find followers of that religion who are correct.

sure a lot of people get it wrong (the religion) but Islam isnt the only religion in which this happens, its happened countless numbers of times with other religions... how about the crusades where Christendom slaughtered hundereds of jews and muslims? but i think the reason that terrorism in *Islam* is on the rise is probably because of the whole situation in Iraq and the middle east. you have to admit that a lot of the Arab ans Islamic world has been exploited. millions have lost their lives and homes etc. this in no way means terrorism is okay but just trying to reinforce that its not the religion but the people.

Jihad isnt war because of hate, Jihad is holy war in the name of God, for the sake of Allah. As soon as hate appeares, its not holy Jihad any longer. Collectively voicing our opinion isnt as easy at it seems. Can we collectively stop the war in Iraq, the interevntion? No, although most people of the earth are against it.

islam is indeed considered a peaceful religion but due to some culprits trying to disturb n misinterpret the actual meaning of jihad, creacting havoc n then blame other people's faults.what they've done r 100% correct under the instruction of Allah.all these r bullsizz!

best wishes n happy new year.

Jihad is against the coloniser,or against a group who harm the muslims, but if a muslim harmed anyone who did nothing to him,or isn’t involved in something against him,it is considered a great sin.but you will also find alot of teachings that tell us to forgive, and always be ready to have peace if the group,or one who harmed wanted peace....
Also there is the greatest Jihad that is to conquer your evil self, that means we all have to make ourselves better by adhering to good morals, and leaving bad habits that our evil self love....

They are doing Jihad against the oppressor

They are Oppressed....

You have to look into The Holocaust Of Muslims to understand it...

By the way, What is the greatest Jihad?????
It's not to fight in the battle field, It's to come over your weakness....

I really didnt want to copy and paste so i will give you the link instead. The saved sect condemns this. The saved sect is that what the prophet and his companions were upon. Its the other sect like HT, khawaarij (osamah bin laden group) that urge this. All the salafi scholars condemn this. Here is saudi arabian scholar who is a grand mufti (judge) who has spoken openly and urged parents to turn their children in if they are a part of these terrorist groups. You cant judge Islam by the actions of a few ignorant people.
