Your state's bar association probably has a referral service. There's the Yellow Pages. There's doing an Internet search.

Just look for any attorney who is listed as handling adoption, custody, and probate court issues.

Your local phone directory is a good place to start. It also depends on what aspect of adoption you are seeking legal advise on. If you are adopted and looking for birth parents or your rights as an adopted child, I would suggest you try one of the local adoption agencies as they are very helpful with information. If you are looking to adopt and having difficulty, there are many lawyers wiolling to help. I would suggest a family law lawyer though, as this is their speciality. Hope that helps.

look in your local phone book for an adoption attorney. If rights have been terminated, then it will be a piece of cake! Thanks for making a difference in their little lives when others can't!
