Personally, I think God HAS to be a woman. A bi-polar female is how I envision this "God" character.

The universe is so big. There could be many different kind of life forms. Humans are just one of the trillions. Sex is something that is exclusive to humans. In another planet there could be 5 sexes or no sexes at all, we cannot even imagine what things will be like in other planets. This God we are talking about is the God of the universe. In that case, How can God be like human? So you tell me, is God girl or guy?
Personally i believe God is just consciousness...not a physical object...

Problem is in the old testament, the language that talked about god had no indefinite or neutral pronoun (it) things were either he or she, him or her, so god could not be referred to as an "It". Therefore the idea of god as a male was propogated. Later in history, when english translations were being put together, it was considered that god was of the male character and referring to god as an 'it' was somehow to de-humanize or to make god like a 'thing', this has persisted to today.

So there are just something the created will never understand about their creator. I wonder why humans think their minds can be wrapped around God. The Book of Job says the mysteries of God are so deep, who can measure it?

Came to your point, is it a temptation guy. So if the question is genuine the bible has stated clearly he is the Father of the universe and the Father of our lord Jesus Christ. Why they reffered God as male he exposed wisdom and power, as man is believed the same.
Am very sure that the next quiz you will ask is whether Jesus is a son or a daughter of God, please dont it.

no God is free from limitations of sex , time ,space and emotions and all human requriements like sleep , thirst , hunger etc.
God is not a creature so God can not be like creatures
