Aspirin is good. The rat poisen you are talking about is called Wharfrin. (not sure of the spelling). Wharfrin should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor, as you have to have your blood tested regularly to make sure your blood is not too thin. This could be dangerous. 100mg aspirin a day should do the trick.

Warfarin thins the blood so does Heparin injections. Both medicines need to be checked on and adjusted according to your INR. I don't know what "sticky blood" is but if your Dr diagnosed it they would have prescribed the drugs. Also if its a platlet malfunction they could prescribe Hydroxyurea.

Sticky blood? Are you talking about anti-phospha-lipid-syndrome? My sister has that. She's been on Coumadin for years. That's the only thing that she takes for it. She can't take aspirin because that will make her blood TOO thin with the Coumadin. She bruises easily and she constantly has to have her Coumadin levels checked. It sucks. It's considered and "Orphan" disease because it's rare and no real research is done on it.

Diet and exercise WILL help. A little alcohol doesn't will help too - a drink a day will actually help thin out your blood without causing liver damage. However your best bet is to adjust your diet and exercise patterns.

There are a few natural herbal remedies that inhibit blood from clotting
I know that Ginkgo biloba is one of them.
