I have two step daughters and five kids of my own they are 14,12,5,3 and 17months. I am five months pregnant and I was originally told I was having twins, which was shock enough but I was recently informed that I am infact having triplets. Financially this is not a huge problem although it will require a lot of forward planning. How do I plan ahead? Are there any mothers of twins or triplets, whats it like?Do you have a big family, how do you cope?
My hisband and I always wanted a big family and we are both nervous and excited but 10 kids is that ridiculous?

so you will have normal, healthy, and happy babies

Wow, that's a full house. I only have three so I can't offer many practical solutions myself, but find books on large familes. "Cheaper by the Dozen" and its sequel "Belles on Their Toes" plus several books by author Teresa Bloomingdale. All these are based on real 10 and 11 member families and while they take a humourous slant, you might be able to get ideas from them. Good luck.

God bless your soul :-)

You should visit http://largefamilyresource.com/. This is site is dedicated to the arduous task of running a family. Now, you may have a lot of kids because you planned it that way, you "accidently" had them, you had multiple multiples, you adopted, you inherited or you blended a family. Whichever method, you now have a housefull, and it's not always easy to manage.

They have all types of resources and ideas to help you manage.

i think that you and your husband will need a lot of help at first so surround yourselves with lots of friends and family and get your other kids to help out and watch each other so that you can focus on the new babies. i think that it will be hard but you can get through it with a lot of support. Good Luck and God Bless.

get help. seriously. get people from your church, your friends, aunts, neighbours etc to come by a couple of times a week and give you a hand with laundry, cooking, cleaning etc etc. Don't forget to take time for yourself!

And maybe consider getting those tubes tied! We all have a responsibility to control the population growth!
