Mcafee, Registry change detected pop-up?

Running XP and have Mcafee virus protection. I keep getting a pop-up that says a "registry change detected" and I have to click "allow" or "don't allow" the change. How can I stop this from poping up?

I get the same popup warning, many times when opening a new IE window. It is part of McAfee SystemGaurd. If you want to change the way it reacts, follow the steps below.

Open up your McAfee Security Center.
Click Computer and Files. Click Configure
Expand SystemGaurd protection is enabled.
Click Advanced. You can then change the way it alerts you or just disable it.
