Oh, Great One, of course not. How can it be that the inferior beings not blessed with the knowledge of THE LANGUAGE might be able to dream in another language ?
Oh, omniscient, we are stunned in your presence

Something not touched upon, I sometimes dream of those with whom I had an intimate relationship with in another country in that language.

The interesting thing for me is that after the years, when it takes place,
the language is fluent. And, when the vocabulary fails in fluency, the mind makes up its own vocabulary; the fabricated words seeming to be that language and sound very much like it.

English is my native speech but I have had dreams in both German and Japanese, and, for some reason always seem a bit more profound.

I'm an Indian and I know English. Since I know both languages I see dreams in both English & my own language. Since I see in this way, I think all people see dreams in all languages they know.

It depends... English is kinda like my 3rd language. If i had a dream with my friend, i would have it in English. If i had a dream about my Mom, i will speak my 1st language.

If you dream speaking to someone then you talk in your language or English if that conversation was in English otherwise most dreams involve events that do not require speech.

I am Irish, but I speak 4 languages - English, French, Spanish and Italian (I live in Italy). Many people ask me what language I dream in. My answer is always 'English, but with Italian subtitles'.

My *friend* has English as her native tongue, and last week she started learning Spanish rapidly. She told me she dreamt about Spanish words appearing and hearing them, but no vivid images were involved.
