i finally got my MRI results back from my ortho about my knee, and now they want to put me back in therapy which i have tried 4 times before with no results. I want a second opinion from a more experienced doctor...is it worth it?

You should ALWAYS get a secocnd opinion when it comes to major problems with your body, especially if you are not comfortable wth the first.

This is your body, you have every right to seek additional attention if you are not satisfied with your current Doctor and you should not feel guilty about it.

Absolutely, if your not happy with their findings it is your right to seek a second opinion. Many times they will use physical therapy to avoid the cost of a more expensive procedure. Most of the time it is about money.
