I'd start with a couselor before a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists aren't really meant for 'counseling' they are mostly for getting the general idea of the problem and prescribing medications. Even a psychologist would work.

Sorry don't know the precise answer you seek, but would advise speaking with your doctor as health practices in the south of UK now have a psychiactric self help programs for patients. But you will need to speak with your doc about gaining access to it.
