also I'm pretty new to computers so is there anywhere you can take your tomtom one v2 and get them to put speed cam warnings and any other updates i might need? to save me trying to work it out myself and spending hours on the computer pulling my hair out! kind regards peter

You need to install the TomTom home program and make a back-up of the device. Then either go to the TT web page and buy the speed cam files, after which TT home should update automatically, or go to pocketgpsworld and get the similar files, then use TT software to put them on the device. REMEMBER the TT files give you the location and speed, but DON'T warn you if you're too fast!

The worst way to get speed camera warnings is seeing a flash in your rear view mirror ;)

either sign up with tomtom.com or go to pocketgpsworld.com for a cheaper alternative (just as good)

or you could always (illegally) search p2p networks for "tomtom speed camera poi"

you can get speed camera poi from limewire just make sure you run your anti virus over anything you download then install them on your tom tom as per instruction manual
