Use a stripping product like Blondissimo before dying your hair blonde.

There is a product that they call red out you can buy it at places like Sallys Beauty Supply, it works really well when your hair is dark and you are wanting to dye to blonde with out having to use straight bleach which is very very bad for you hair! If you try useing this just put a few drops 5 or so in with the dye mix! Best of Luck

Bleaching it will turn it a color you really don't want unless your into funky colors. I work in a beauty salon as a receptionist and the best answer I can give you is to go to one of your local salons and speak to a professional on what to do. It is very difficult to give someone advice sight unseen. When I receive calls about these type of issues...no matter how well you are trying to explain it...without actually seeing it... no one can tell you exactly what you need to do to fix the problem. Good Luck to you.

It depends if you had your hair dyed in a salon or did it yourself. If it was done in a salon you can use a 'color-stripping' product (don't know the english word) which is basically bleach. If you dyed it yourself you'll probably be stuck with the red until you can cut it off.

if you have blonde hair this will naturally get bleached by the particular sun in the summer. There was this guy in my class who also had golden blonde hair that has been a medium brown near the bottom. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was almost platinum blonde!

Jet black hair. I have really dark brown hair and I consider dark hair looks better. I don't really like blonde hair.
