Because that is what Mohammad founded it for!?
Islam was a "Religion" born in War, to make War and was preached for War.
Modern Muslims like to say that it's the "Religion of Peace" and that Islam means Peace.
Refer Koran Sura 4:74, 9:5 and 9:29
Let me ask them "What kind of "Peace"?
The only kind of Peace that's acceptable to them is one where they dominate the World and all other pay their Religious fine !?!?
Let me see one Muslim deny this, because it's there in their own Koran!?
This is what is said in the Koran :
O Muslim, Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them. Sura 4:89
"Those (Christians and Jews) are they whom Allah hath cursed." Sura 4:52
"And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed achieves victory. We will bestow on him a great reward." (Sura 4:74).
"Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and his messenger . . . is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from the opposite sides." (Sura 5:33)
Mohammad was himself a Quraishi, of the Jewish beni al Quraish tribe, yet, what did he do to his own relatives?
Let any Muslim say that what he did was good? He slaughtered 900 of them!?!? And sold many as slaves!?
Religion of Peace????
I'd love to see the fatwa that the "one who submits" has been so kind to give us all a link to, being carried out!?!?
May I ask if all devout Muslims will kindly act upon this "fatwa"????
If we can see some proof of that, maybe, we can believe you?????
I, honestly, wonder why none of the Muslims negated me?????

It is not the religion that calls for war around the world. Islam is a religion of peace. The problem is the followers of Islam. Some of them, and let me assure you that it is only a small percentage of them, misinterpret the Quran. They thought that they can use the context of Jihad in every way.
If we are to stereotype Muslims and Islam with the action of some of their people, then it would be also the same case with Christianity. We also have militias and vigilantes who use Christianity and the name of God to do their own bidding. Anyways, I hope that people will stop fearing Islam and the Muslim people. It is time to shed off Islamophobia in the world.

Because all religion in BS. It is made to make people turn against each other, and no one can say otherwise. Love and BS is always overshadowed by a war taking place.
Faith is another thing, but connection to a god through a person, a temple or a big image is just a plague that will remind us how much of apes we STILL are.

A religion doesn't wage war, people do. It's extremely unfortunate that the people that are seen as the "leaders" of a religion are causing destruction. Often, the loudest and most ignorant are the people that are seen as the leaders. Look at the radical Christians, I'd say they figure more prominently in people's minds. There are a whole world of muslims out there who are not terrorists, myself included, and we do not consider terrorists as our leaders.

first of all suicide act is forbidden in islam , murder is forbidden in islam , killing people weather they are muslims and non muslims is forbidden in islam . being ignorant , living in obression ,poor condtions and ilitrate people do these acts , those people are not real muslims or they are muslims but do not do what islam says , it is like some christains who celebrate christmas but they question them seleves about god exsistance . it is people who make destruction not the religon
