I have just been reading about the girl that died because of one. i know its illegal in the uk but is it in Ireland, i think it should be.

For UK - Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Great Britain .
It is an offence to own or keep any of the below types of dog:
the Pit Bull Terrier
the Japanese tosa
the Dogo Argentino
the Fila Brasileiro

It is important to note that, in the UK, dangerous dogs are classified by “type”, not by breed label. This means that whether a dog is considered dangerous, and therefore prohibited, will depend on a judgment about its physical characteristics, and whether they match the description of a prohibited 'type'. no i live in northern ireland and this month you have to give them up and then after it it will be illeagal dont know about the south of ireland though, i dont agree but i feel for the dogs, it is the owners fault if it goes mad

It is probably illegal in Northern Ireland, but not in Sourthern Ireland. Though that is just my guess

I think so yea, in Northern Ireland there gunna start killen the dangerous dogs up here soon! so if its not down there then it probably will be soon! i have to admit i havent seen anytin about it on RTE or anytin so im not sure.?

i dunno but i do kno that in tha Kansas City, Kansas area they were fighting it forever Bcuz there were over 2 attacks a week in certain areas i think they R illegal now tho.
