This guy was the one who wrote to me in the first place. We have only email each other for 5 time. I've basically given him a intro about myself. He hasn't told me anything about himself yet.

I met my boyfriend on Yahoo! Personals, but before him there were a lot lot lot of creeps and losers that tried to contact me. Wait until one feels really right and safe and never give out personal information and if you plan on meeting someone, meet in a public place like the mall or a restaraunt and have your friends go too and get a separate table at the restatraunt so they can keep an eye on you. Only give out your cell phone # and not your landline because they can trace the number and come stalk you at your house if things do not go well. Keep yourself safe and if you ever find yourself questioning yourself about someone you met online end the relationship immediately.

I would find out the basics about him first. Then it depends if your into sarcasm. If no, then why meet and waste his and your time, if yes choose a public place and make it short and sweet like coffee or something to see if there is any chemistry before going on a full fledge date.

trust your instincts. If it feels like you shouldnt waste your time, dont! I did the online dating thing, and actually met my husband that way, but it was very hard at first because we as women are trained to be polite, so dont want to hurt feelings, even of someone we dont know at all.
I would say if he hasnt told you anything about himself, he doesnt want you to know something.

You should be always cautious about how much information you give about yourself for one. If the guy wont give you any information about himself that should send off red flags to you something is wrong with him. For now all he is a screenname and thats all you know. If he has been sarcastic i would automatically drop him because that is nothing but trouble. No reason to put yourself through that. I had that happen to me i put them permantently on my iggy list.

Don't waste your time, this guy is not suitable for you because he don't know how to behave and never show respect yo you. Get another guy, so easy available. Even you can get better guy in this "yahoo answer" web site. Just keep trying and you will definitely get your correct Mr. Right.

Whoever said sarcasm was the lowest form of wit, was obviously no good at it. I have hours of fun locked away under the stairs....in my..room.....on...my....own, hang on, that sounds wrong on so many levels.
