She's really pretty and I miss her so much, I try not to think about her but I can't help it. She smokes but that's not a bad thing, considering most people in Switzerland do! We met a few times and got on quite well.

Quite easily young Sir. First you stop supposing, What might or might not be. Then you take the Bull by the Horns, and ask this young lady if she would like to spend some quality time with you. This could be for a coffee, a game of bowls, or anything you think you would both enjoy. If she refuses you have lost nothing and carry on as her friend knowing that is all you will ever be. If she says yes, you go out of your way to be fun to be with. Show as much interest in her as you can. Regarding, talking and getting to know her properly. That's it. Should you hit it off there will be more Dates. If not, there Will be others who you wish to date. The most attractive personality is a warm hearted and fun to be with one. Don't get hung over if you can not have the closeness with this young lass that you would like.You have Bags of time before you contemplate a Serious relationship. Plus this is all part of the learning process in Life.Most of us have many different partners throughout our Life. It is the very very Fortunate that meet the right one in a blink of an eye. Follw your heart, you'll always look at others through your perception of her, which is not fair to them and guilt inducing for you.
Her smoking is an issue for you I suspect, but your right, everyone smokes there. She's not perfect, nobody is, but if you don't try you'll never fly!
