i have this problem all the time. im at a bar/public place and i see an attractive girl that looks at me several times. i know i should go up to her and say something but i always talk myself out of it because i dont want to look like a retard. any advice on what i should do in these situations? or should i wait and see if our paths meet again before approaching?

I believe that you shouldn't leave these things to fate. It's just an excuse for your fear. I suggest just forgetting to feel afraid and go up to her to say hello. a simple hello. then, introduce yourself. if she's nice, she will say hi and introduce herself in return. ah. from this moment onwards i'm sure the two of you will find something to talk about. like your jobs, where you're from, etc. this question-asking thing should just kick in. don't worry too much about it or plan the questions. spontaneous = charming. haha. all right, good luck!!!

Well, I think that you should pick up your butt and do something. Do you remember B. Spears :
"I see you looking at me
Like I’m some kind of a freak
Get up out of your seat
Why don’t you do something?"
You said that she stares at you. That means that she is interested in you.
Show her that you are brave and cool, man. Otherwise there might be another guy who won't be afraid to seem stupid and a girl will be gone.
Good luck to you, be self-confident and get a girl :)

for my section i think of the boy could ask out the girl yet it somewhat is by way of the fact i'm from Chicago and that's what we oftentimes do right here yet then some relationships are ruined through fact the guy is to shy or they lady is to shy in my college we've boys and girls and the girls oftentimes refer to the lads and then the girls oftentimes communicate between themselves same with the lads. i'm not shure if this enables it might desire to be slightly doubtful yet it somewhat is my opinion.

chances are that your paths won't meet again.
so just approach her and maybe ask her to dance or wait i'll tell you what.
go watch the movie hitch.
that should clear up some stuff

Straight forward and confident. Walk right up, introduce yourself, and ask if the seat beside her is taken (or if there is no seat open, ask her to join you where there is room for two . . . dance floor?). Just be natural and NO LAME PICK-UP LINES!!!!!!!!
Good luck.
