I know this may sound petty, but ever since my boyfriend said he loved me (first I might add), I am always saying it to him first. I have even tried not saying it to see if he does, but he doesnt. The wierd thing is on IM and text he says it on the time...is he just being shy or what?

I'm havin the same trouble with my girlfriend......she is very shy, so i guess so, although i'm starting to wonder if she actually does like me.
Do you find you have to make all the first moves? i have to with my girlfriend, saying i love her, kissing, hugging, the lot. i have mentioned it to her and she says she is just shy. so why dont you ask your boyfriend the same question, you'll no for sure whether he is being shy or whether (i hate say it) he still loves you.

not sure of the ages here all i know is u need to really know now what the word love is ....playing on the phone or whatever is cute once in awhile but all reality in my opinion if you throw the word love around like a regular word and realize God is Love, Love is God unless he means it dont mess with the name i think the situation sounds a lil immature and .you dont need to say it so much baby its actiozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzns after whoever say the word its allgood be carefule dont smother or bore him "k"............

Guys will usually just tell you what they think you want to hear. Quit saying it - altogether, and wait him out. Make the man jump through some hoops!!!

The fact that he doesn't say it, does mean anything, as long as you still feel like he loves you. If it bothers you that much, tell him you like hearing him say it, don't assume that he knows how you feel, or what you want to hear. And don't assume that he doesn't love you, just because he doesn't say it.
