So i was with this girl. I got along great with her family, I took her out, I trusted her, but I knew she was insecure about 'getting hurt'. It was affecting our relationship so I sat her down and talked about things with her for over an hour and reassured her that I really cared about her and I had no problem waiting on sex until she is ready and that she needs to open up a little bit to me so i know whats going on. Hell, I even came and 'cuddled' with her when she was sick and brought a movie over. She had plenty of space and I let her go out with the 'girls' because I trusted her. She told me yesterday I am 'friend' material and I told her to piss off since I'm not her goddam friend. Should I just be a total d*ck from now on since it pays better?

No. I think she was just looking for an excuse for breaking up with you rather than explaining she didn't like you anymore. Just act the way you naturally are and someone will like you for that.

She probably just doesn't want to be in a relationship at the moment!. Respect her wishes, isn't it better that she has told you this now and not later on down the track where she would have been stringing you along?. There could be lots of reasons why she doesn't want to be in a relationship at present it doesn't mean that your a bad person at all or that you've done anything wrong!. Trust me you will find a woman that will want to have something very special with you soon enough!.
Good luck:)

I totally argee with the first answer it was just an excuse. Sad there isnt very many men out there that is good to a girl and she totally missed that chance. So dont start acting like a d*** to all females because you will find you a very good girl one day just dont give up.

You had the wrong girl, chalk it up and move on. Be the man you are now, but take your time in cultivating a relationship next time. Most girls aren't used to such kindness.

No, you shouldn't! Just move on and find a girl that appreciates you, and can return your feelings.
