Don't know precisely but you could try searching "Personal Information Laws" or "privacy protection law in the uk" (or in whaever country)

Confidentiality is a word that can be described in the dictionary, if you don't have one at home I'm sure if you searched for "on-line dictionary" you would find your answer.

Briefly it means not sharing your information with all and sundry, or keeping information private, or protecting information from people who do not have right to know.
