Did something happen to you to make you believe in God? Maybe you never used to believe that God exists but something happened to make you believe? What happened and what made you believe? Do you believe whats in the bible? If yes then why? Do you believe there's a heaven and hell? If yes why? And if you've answered no to any, i'd also like to hear what you have to say. And by the way i don't believe in any of it, i'll believe it when i see it. sorry if that offends anyone.

I don't believe in any of it, but I don't believe in the lack of any of it either. I think it is just as foolishto claim outright that there is no God as it is to say there is a God and this is the life he wants you to live.

I was raised Christian, but I eventually questioned where my beliefs came from - I was born in a predominantly Christian country to Christian parents. Had I been born in another country, I would've been taught to believe something else. Why should I hold one view above the other simply because the circumstances of my birth led me to be taught one over the other?

I believe it is just as likely that we are like a microorganism in a giraffe's kidney. The microorganism thinks that giraffe's kidney is the universe because it can't see beyond it and will never leave it. It doesn't have the mind power nor perspective to grasp the entire giraffe, the savannah, cars, ballet, or Junichiro Koizumi's hair. All that stuff outside of the giraffe's kidney exists, just not to the microorganism. It could make up a story that explains all the crevasses and goo, all the activity that goes on in the kidney and pass it down to its kids, but it's all just guesswork.

I don't know what's beyond what I can perceive. Whatever it is, I don't like the term, "God" to describe it. God implies supernatural. Supernatural is just a word we use when we don't understand something.

I'm not going to worry about what's beyond the giraffe's kidney. I'm just going to enjoy it while I'm here.

The answers to all your questions for me is a YES. I was raised in a Christian home, and saved when I was 12 yrs old. I believe every word that is written in the Bible is the complete and infallible word of God. Heaven and Hell are real places. Heaven is for those that have accepted Jesus as their Savior during their life here on earth. Hell, unfortunately a place of everlasting fiery darkness that was never intended for man, only Satan and his demons. But when men make the choice to follow sin, and not.accept Jesus Hell is where they will spend their eternity.
Alot of people will argue and disagree with all of this, but the way I see it I have read the final chapter.. I know how it all ends, and WE win. But if for some very small minute chance I could even possible (although I am not) could be wrong, what have I lost by believing.. But for t hose who CHOOSE NOT to believe, they however have everything to loose if we're right.

Do I believe in God? Yes. I used to be agnostic, I did not know. I studied it objectively. I looked through secular records of history, I looked at Archeology, and I looked at the science. My research brought to my belief. As for seeing it is the only way you will believe something, then there is an awful lot of science that you must not believe too. Science accepts without any doubt that the Universe stretches well beyond our ability to see, record, send satellites too. Millions of light years away. Science says that we still see the light of planets that died eons ago, as the distance is so great that by the time the last light emitted from the star or planet reaches us, it will have been dead for thousands of years or more. We accept that based on a preponderance of evidence. I ended up accepting God for the same reason. I cannot see either, but I believe both are true.

I originally began believing in God when I stared noticing the beauty of things, how could something as wonderus as the stars and the sky be created by an explosion? How could something as miraculous as a human being be complete chance? Afterward I went through some extremely troubling times and I put my faith in Christ and I felt helped all the way through. About the bible, it took reading other books about the bible to get me to understand the whole truth of it. I do believe in heaven and hell both are mentioned in the Bible and I do know the Bible to be truth, I uinderstand your doubtfullness, and I hope that one day you'll come to believe in God

Yes I believe it all. I have been kept alive through the will of God when by all rights I should be dead. I have witnessed the miracle of childbirth. I have seen people's lives change due to their faith. for these and other reasons I believe in God, thus I believe in the bible, which is his word. I believe in heaven and hell because I think if you are given a lifetime to come to God and you simply refuse to then youshould not be llowed into heaven. Yes his love is unconditional but you are the one who ultimately decides where you will spend your afterlife.

I believe that life and every event in it has purpose... doesnt matter wether god exists or not......
the bible has some hidden truths but is more often mis-translated than right....
Heaven is dying, knowing that you lived a life that made the world a better place
hell is the opposite....

if you wait till you see it - meaning you are dead - it will be too late - ask, seek, knock and He will show you in this life so it wont be too late
why I believe the Bible b/c there is real evidence that the gospels are true - seek that out - if that is true then ALL of the Bible must be true b/c that is what Jesus came for - the Gospel are the key and there are facts to back them up but you need to make a real effort to go look for them - I dont mean go to Israel and dig something up, look online, books, library whatever do some reading to convince yourself but I think the evidence is there - btw this is coming from a scientist that looks at data and needs proof of things every day

There is NO god, the bible is a novel, and there is no heaven OR hell. These were all things invented by ancient rulers who wanted to keep their citizens in line. For example, when ancients saw a volcano erupt, they warned their citizens to "be good" because the gods are angry, lol.
