Ok i just asked a question how can jesus be God's child.like God having wife and children...Jesus always said I am God's son, he never did say, I am God's one and only son.so i think becuz of the respect and fear ppl have on God, they have interpreted this as Jesus being the only son of God...But what it could mean is quite different in my opinion...I believe We are all God's Children...we share part of God's consciousness thats all. Ok but alot of ppl answered to me that jesus is God's only son, and some of u guys also claimed that God has a family up there jus like us humans...and said it was found in the bible...
let me ask you, is this God, God of the universe or God of Mother earth? How come God happens to have da same lifestyle as us humans? Like having family and so on.i mean this lifestyle is exclusive only to earth.cuz in anthr planet things r diff. ther could b no such thing as wife, female sex, children there...Isnt ther a flaw? As if bible written in earth's context alone?

I may have misunderstood your question, but I do believe we're all children of God, in that there is God within each of us. Honestly, I don't care what or whether others practice religion, as long as we all hold to the simple concept of "the golden rule"; respect others as you wish to be respected.

In doing so (to me, at least), we respect God, who gives us the capacity to create our own families -- our children, brothers, sisters, parents. As a parent myself, I wasn't truly aware of the selflessness and power of love until my child was born. Now, I see the depth of God's gift to us.

Peace, and good luck.

Good question, interesting theory. You are right that the Bible does not say that Jesus is the only son of God but it does say that Jesus is the only-begotten son of God. John 4:9
However, my all time favorite scripture in the Bible tells us the story of God's only-begotten son and how it was through him that everything else was made. Check it out:

“Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago.  From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth.  When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water.  Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains,  when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land.  When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep,  when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong,  when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth,  then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time,  being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men." Proverbs 8:22-31

Remember, God is not made of flesh and blood and therefore needs no wife to create life. He considers though that all of his creation are family, each unique in their own right. Angels are a-sexual beings that do not pro-create (that is why some angel forsoke their natural dwelling places in bred with women of the earth producing the hybred race of nephilim Jude 5:6,
Genesis 6:1-4) God does not have the same lifestyle as humans but speaks to us in terms that we understand. For example, you feel that a man and woman are necessary to produce life, for God that is not necesary, neither is the air we breath necessary for God to live, he is not dependant on our sun nor water nor food. Life is vastly different for him. I hope I was able to answer some of your questions, I thoroughly enjoyed them.

this is what i believe about this issue, Jesus is not God, when ever we are talking about God we are saying the God of the universe. I have no idea why people say Jesus is God or son of God, even when Jesus was preaching to the people of Israelite he never declare himself as God or son of God. people around him call him that because of the miracle that he was performing but is answers to them was You said(basically that if they say so) even before Jesus was born God exist OK and Jesus birth was not only the miracle birth in this world. Adam and eve did not have parent God create them from clay so why are we not calling Adam God or son of God, why Jesus alone i think we need the original bible not the one that people have messed with, i mean the first bible to be clarified about this issue and that i believe will enlighten people and open their eye to that word Jesus is God or Jesus is the son of GOD God has no son we are all God slaves he send us to this world of nothing to serve him and we will sure account to him on the day of judgment, how we spend our lives. be productive now so you will have something to account for in a good way.

No my friend, you and others have it all wrong! God doesnt have a family as we have here on earth! Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are ONE.

We were all created by God to worship Him. When we dont, we are children of Satan and not of God. Jesus IS the Son of God, but those who worship God through Jesus Christ become sons and daughters of God. God does not have the same lifestyle as we as humans have, and nor did Jesus when He was on earth. Jesus IS God.

When we die and go to heaven (or hell, but in this case we will talk about heaven), we no longer have spouses.

I do hope this helps my friend. It is always best to ask the Lord to give you His understanding when you read the Bible, and reading it for yourself is always best.

Your questions well taken - just to play by a few rules to be followed on both sides when asking and answering questions:

1. we take responsibility to ask meaningful questions and stand by it.
2. allow the presuppositions in our questions to be clarified.

Father, Son, Mother, Daughter....so on and so forth are all natural categories - you are suggesting that in your question by asking "how can jesus be God's child.like God having wife and children". Your question re-phrased could be like this: How can a supernatural God use natural categories like "father, son, mother etc.?

My Answer is: A Supernatural God can (because with God all things are possible - God is omnipotent) use natural categories to relate to us. Why God does this - this understanding can come only with a correct understanding of God.

We need to begin with chapter one of God. Your question from chapter 5 is appreciated - but it betrays that you have not begun with Chapter 1 yet. Hope you got the`point.

There are many questions rolled into your question - how can god have a son, is there a misinterpretation, are we sharing God's consciousness?, is God the God of the universe or of Mother earth, God's lifestyle....?, is the bible written in earth's context alone?

The common factor in your question is undoubtedly GOD!!! Sure you are welcome to understand Him.
Hoping you will seek dilligently by setting aside the tendency to accept answers that suit you alone.

We should set aside our tendencies to accept answers that are only palatable to our minds and enhance our mind's tastes by being reasonable with answers that are unacceptable to our existing mindsets. Our criteria for rejecting any answer should be "illogical, un-reasonable and deviating answers.

"what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit" Matthew 1:20. Mary is Jesus' mother, and she was totally mortal, and the Holy Spirit is eternal. Jesus did claim to be different than us.

"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" John 8:58

--

Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, "I have said you are God's [children]. If he called them "God's" to whom the word of God came - and the Scripture cannot be broken, WHAT ABOUT THE ONE WHOM THE FATHER SET APART AS HIS VERY OWN AND SENT INTO THE WORLD? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, "I am God's Son?" Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe in the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the father." John 10:34-40

We are children of God, but Jesus is the Son of God. There is a difference; the Son of God is a specific title of authority and divinity.

Jesus was not conceived by God and Modern earth... Jesus was conceived by Mary and the Holy Spirit.

You said, "Jesus always said I am God's son, he never did say, I am God's one and only son."

If you took the time to read the bible it does say he is the only son, hate to burst you bubble cause I know you are looking for mistakes.

John 10:30 - "I and the Father are one".
One father and One Son.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son".
Says ONLY son.

Be a good idea to start reading.

In Matthew 16, Simon Peter says that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus praises Peter for his divine-inspired wisdom.

Read the first Chapter of John.
John wanted everyone to be clear on this concept.

Jesus is God's only Son (Eternal being in temporal flesh)

We can be ADOPTED children but never become begotten children.

Jesus is not god or gods son
Jesus was human a messenger of god like all the other messengers
Jesus had a mercilass born ..... that's why they said that he's gods son
but he's same like adam .... god created them without a father .... adam had no mothers ....
do they consider adam the son of god too ? ... if not why ......

that's a great sin and disbelief towards god .....
he send Jesus to teach people to worship god
they worshiped Jesus instead ....
god bless you
